POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE requests to /api/v1 that carry a body must now declare Content-Type: application/json (multipart/form-data for document upload). A body with no Content-Type, or another type such as application/x-www-form-urlencoded (the default of curl -d), is refused with HTTP 415 and the body {"error": "Unsupported content type", "code": "UNSUPPORTED_MEDIA_TYPE"}. Add -H "Content-Type: application/json" to such calls.

Pro users can choose which files are imported from Connected Sources by folder path and file type (for example PDF or DOCX). Rules are saved for each connection and applied at every sync.

Connecting Google Drive or OneDrive now opens a small popup window instead of leaving the app. The popup closes when the connection succeeds and your list of connections refreshes on its own. (Updated 2026-10-20: this entry used to list Slack, which is now a notification channel only.)

The integration sync job now runs every 6 hours (down from every hour) and skips users with no active paid subscription or inactive integrations. Integrations are processed sequentially to stay within Supabase connection limits on the free tier — zero wasted compute.

Connect Google Drive or OneDrive and import documents into Understify without uploading them by hand. (Corrected 2026-10-20: an earlier version of this entry listed Slack, which is a notification channel only.) Imported documents are picked up at each scheduled sync and analysed like any other upload. Email attachment import was part of this release but is not offered at the moment.

Connect a Microsoft account to import OneDrive files through the Microsoft Graph API. Access is refreshed automatically, so syncs continue without you signing in again.

Export a PDF summary of every decision run, listing applied, approved and rejected changes in colour-coded boxes. It does not mark up the contract text. Push it to your Google Drive or send it as an email attachment.

Decision review and Needs approval now refresh automatically via Supabase Realtime when decision items change, so teammates' approvals show up without a page reload. A live indicator shows when the view is connected. This is live status updating, not simultaneous co-editing.

Decision runs now use Next.js after() to guarantee execution after a response is sent — fixing cases where single and bulk uploads did not trigger automation in serverless environments.

Pro, Team, and Business users now automatically receive a personal organisation on first use, enabling decision runs, playbooks, and automation features without needing to manually create a workspace.
