Every plan has daily limits on AI requests. How fair use works
The limits, as the app enforces them.
Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC. When you reach one, new AI requests wait for the reset and nothing is charged for them.

On a paid plan, when you have used the documents included in your plan this month, a prepaid credit covers each extra document. One credit is one document. Credits expire 12 months after purchase, are used earliest-expiring first, and do not raise the daily fair-use limits.

Buy packs in Settings, Billing, while on a paid plan. Unused credits are kept if you change plan and can be used again on a paid plan. If a pack payment is refunded or disputed, its unused credits are removed.

What does fair use mean here?
Each person on a plan has a daily allowance of AI requests, which resets at 00:00 UTC. Free: up to 5 a day for document analyses and decision runs and up to 30 a day for document questions and explanations. Pro and Team: up to 50 a day and up to 300 a day. Business: up to 150 a day and up to 1,000 a day. Requests made through the API count too. When you reach a limit, new AI requests are refused until the reset and nothing is charged for them. If usage puts the service at risk for other customers, for example bulk automated processing or reselling access, we will normally contact you first and may then lower the limit or suggest another plan.
Is there a free trial?
Pro and Team start with a 7-day trial, once per customer. You enter a card to start it and are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel. The Free plan has no time limit. Business is not sold online yet; contact us to set it up.
How much does yearly billing save?
Paying yearly costs 20% less than twelve monthly payments on Pro and 20% less on Team. You pay for the year up front.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from Settings. An upgrade applies straight away. A downgrade or cancellation applies at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
Do you give refunds?
Fees are not refundable except where the law requires it (section 5 of the Terms of Service). If something has gone wrong with your billing, email support@understify.com and we will look into it.
How do I pay?
By card, on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe; Understify does not see or store the card number.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT and other sales taxes.
How large can a file be?
Up to 10 MB on Free and 50 MB on paid plans.
Need SSO or your own terms?
Business is set up with you directly. SSO (SAML) is configured by hand on request.
